You did mention you were going to keep your usb sticks separate this is what I would strongly recommend as although the file types are basically the same They are not that interchangeable between the organ and the keyboard firstly the KN is NX sound and the Organ is PCM 3rd generation. Hi Robin, Glad you have found a solution to your problem if not totally perfect. I do thank you for your help and advice my friend. I am kicking myself as I should have ignored the message in the first place and checked that the files had loaded but I was being very cautious as the keyboard has only been mine for a few weeks and I did not want to stuff it up. The Error message must just be tripped by something in the system but saving and loading is OK. The files HAVE BEEN LOADING onto the KN6000.

Well after a lot of trial and error I discovered that the Error message was/is FALSE The Keyboard was saving the files (settings) OK, BUT when I tried to LOAD them back into the KN6000 with the Goteck Emulator, I got an error message on the screen that said that This is just to let you know that I HAVE sorted out the issue I was having on my Technics KN6000 Keyboard with the GOTEK Emulator fitted.

I am purposely keeping them separate and that also goes for the files saved on my Desktop Computer. This could be a long winded suck it and see period ha ha ha.īy the way, I have NOT tried to used the USB sticks that are from my GA3 Organ, and neither am I trying to load GA3 files onto the KN6000. I have sent this information to GOTEK in India, and hope that they can shine some light on it. Which does not make a lot of sense as it has all been kept together. However even if the USB stick is NOT REMOVED from the KN6000 and the keyboard has NOT been turned off, when trying to reload one of the saved files, I get the error message, If I save anything onto that stick, it saves OK and the file can be seen. I formatted a brand new USB stick on the keyboard and it formatted OK into the 100 Disc spaces. There was no USB stick with either that one or the one purchased for my KN6000, and no instructions. The Gotek Emulator is the SAME model as that which was fitted onto my Technics GA3 organ earlier this year. NOTE I have the SAME emulator on my Technics GA3 and that is fine. I have tried using a Factory Reset on the Keyboard but I still have the problem. Now this is saved FROM the Technics KN6000 Keyboard and is definitely NOT from a different product.

" THE DATA ON THE DISC YOU ARE USING IS FOR A DIFFERENT PRODUCT " I had copied my original KN6000 floppy discs to my hard drive on my Desktop computer and these were saved onto a pre-formatted USB stick in various Floppy Disc Sections, and when inserted into the Floppy Emulator on the Technics KN6000 keyboard, they load OK.ĪNYTHING on the Technics KN6000 Keyboard, that I save onto any of my THREE NEW USB sticks (and I have two different Brands here), using the GOTEK EMULATOR WILL NOT RE-LOAD onto the Keyboard afterwards as a warning notice that says. After a few tries with a different USB stick it registered it as being present and I saved a file to it. The Gotek Floppy Disc Emulator was installed last night Thursday 8th November (by my Son John who is a computer repairer and who installed the same type of GOTEK Emulator on my Technics GA3 Organ which works well) and the Gotek Emulator seemed to be recognised by the Technics KN6000 Keyboard, but when a new Formatted USB stick was inserted into the drive, the Keyboard Screen changed to the Load and Save Screen as the USB Stick flashed but then came up with the warning message NO DISC PRESENT.
